Nannying, also known as in-home child care, has been one of the more volatile industries since the pandemic. Initially, with the two-week quarantine, families continued to employ the house’s nanny; however, as weeks turned into months with travel restrictions, in-home care was terminated.

In the first weekend of launching the organization, the team of nannies raised over $40,000 in funding. Over the past three years, they’ve provided over $100,000 to nannies in need. In a week, the nonprofit filled its board and advisory seats with top people in their respected industry, including Jim Geikie, a partner in One Better Ventures, Jeremy Zhang, currently the chief of staff for IBM, and Chevelle Frederick, a newborn care specialist....

She decided that as long as she was still fully employed, she would donate her Monday paycheck to those in need. Using the songfrom the Broadway musical Rent, she posted a video on social media asking people to contact her if they urgently needed a small, one-time gift. Lubin’s generosity inspired other nannies and professionals. Working nannies from the community started donating a portion of their salaries to the fund, and professional advisors, attorneys and branding specialists lent their services to establish the organization.
