The former chief executive of Avolon invested in SpinLaunch earlier this year

Dómhnal Slattery, the former chief executive and co-founder of Avolon, has been appointed chairman of the board of directors at SpinLaunch, a US-based space business. Earlier this year, Slattery invested in the business, which is focused on low-cost access to space, and subsequently lauded its potential at an event in Dublin in August.
