Richard Carleton, chief executive of the Canadian Securities Exchange, said that despite challenges regarding asset valuation, the CSE expects to see over 80 new exploration company listings by the end of the year. In early November Carleton was interviewed by Kitco Mining at the International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC 2023) in Sydney, Australia.
He said Canadian lithium and graphite miners have had some noteworthy successes raising capital from Australian investors, and doing so at better valuations than what they would have received in Canada.
