During a trip to Europe a couple of months back, I had the opportunity to drive the cheapest new EV available over there and to photograph some interesting street-parked cars. I also managed to hit one of the legendary flea markets of Paris during a brief jaunt to that city, scoring a beautiful if somewhat mystifying vintage European movie poster there.
Flipping through a huge stack of rained-on European lobby-card movie posters from the 1950s and 1960s, I finally ran across the one with the Matra Sports crew with a very SoCal-looking front-engined dragster. It turned out to be for the German-market release of the 1967 French-Italian film entitled 'Les Aventuriers.
