Earlier this month we reported that Dungannon based business Panache Shoes had been devastated to learn that their 90,000 social media followers had disappeared overnight

A local independent business which lost thousands of pounds in revenue after its Facebook account disappeared has said it is ‘delighted’ that it is back online again.

With social media being one of the business’ primary ways of making money as well as its brick and mortar store at the Linen Green, owner Gareth Bell says it has been an extremely frustrating time. However, Gareth confirmed that as of this week, the Facebook account has been reactivated, after a two month absence.

“We don’t have any answers and we are frustrated that there is no communication there, but delighted that the end result is that we have our page back. “I honestly don’t know how it happened, maybe after speaking to media about it and a bit of help from local MLAs we are now back online.
