Docu film spotlights growth of architectural industry

MEMBERS and officers of the United Architects of the Philippines gathered last month for the special red-carpet premiere of 'The 3rd Week of April,' a documentary film about the making of the biggest gathering of Filipino architects in history — the NatCon49.NatCon is the yearly national convention organized by the UAP, the country's premier professional organization of architects.NatCon49 was held on April 17–21, 2024, hence the title of the film.

'The theme of NatCon 49 was 'Amplify,' with the goal of expanding and elevating the discourse at the event locally and globally. The organizers said that this concept of amplification was embraced by architects throughout the event through the workshops, panel discussions, and keynote presentations on a wide range of topics. The content of the convention will be amplified as well via social media channels and other communication modalities.
