WASHINGTON—U.S. trade officials on Thursday acknowledged steps by China’s Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. to curb the sale of counterfeit goods on its Taobao.com platform but left the e-commerce site on its list of “notorious markets” that allegedly facilitate or don’t do enough to prevent intellectual-property violations.

Ya think? Most products can be had there for 25% of what they sell for in the us. They are allowing manufacturers to undercut their us clients and nobody is doing a damm thing about it.
