PETALING JAYA - The operating licence of the company whose tour bus crashed in Genting Highlands, killing two Chinese tourists, has been cancelled.

“The results of Apad’s investigation found that the company did not comply with the statutory licensing requirements that had been set. Checks with related agencies, said Apad, also found that this company has a high number of past summonses. “The agency also reminds any company to monitor the performance of their vehicle drivers and ensure the welfare of their drivers is taken care of at all times for the safety of other road users,” it said.Two Chinese tourists were killed in the incident.
