Owned by McAllen's Delgar Foods, Delia's has stores in San Antonio and the Rio Grande Valley, and has been battling a wage-theft lawsuit filed last August.

San Antonio residents can still get tamales at Delia's. All the restaurant's locations — that's six in the Rio Grande Valley and one in San Antonio — were open for business Thursday after FBI raids Wednesday.

Houston lawyer Laura Alaniz, representing Delia's, previously told the Express-News that the claims are “outrageous” and “provably false.” 'Delia’s Tamales was founded nearly 30 years ago through hard work and high quality, and we value our people and our community,' Alaniz said via email. 'We look forward to defending our good reputation in court.' The amended suit alleges that Delia's 'established a scheme' to avoid complying with workplace laws.
