A catering kitchen called Goodwin's To Go is expected to open on Greenville Avenue, a few doors down from Goodwin's restaurant. The new spot will give Goodwin's more parking and more space to prep food for the popular restaurant.By October 2024, Goodwin’s To Go is expected to open a few doors down from the restaurant and serve holiday meals and family-style food. The Greenville Avenue storefront was previously Reful, a shop that sold healthful, ready-to-eat meals.
Goodwin's is located on the corner of Goodwin and Greenville avenues in East Dallas. To the right of this photo, north on Greenville, Goodwin's To Go is expected to open in a few months.Business at Goodwin’s has been booming, said co-owner and chef Jeff Bekavac, and the option to take on another lease seemed daunting but helpful.
The 2,800 square-foot kitchen nearby will give Goodwin’s chefs more space to prepare food. And, it will give Dallas chef Danyele McPherson a place to kick up Goodwin’s catering business.and has worked in some of Dallas’ best kitchens, including Stephan Pyles and The Grape. She spent years working a few blocks down as culinary director for Greenville Avenue restaurants HG Sply Co., Remedy and more.
