Betsy Dirksen Londrigan, USDA rural development administrator for the Rural Business-Cooperative Service toured the solar project at the Carlisle Fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pa. on Thursday.The USDA announced earlier this year that Carlisle Productions Inc./Carlisle Events is receiving a Rural Energy for America Program grant of $656,977 to purchase and install a 749-kilowatt solar photovoltaic system at the Carlisle Expo Center at 100 K. St. in Carlisle.
