Chan said Australian business leaders were too self-conscious about Asia. Asked from the floor at the Summit how Asia viewed Australia, he said that was the wrong question.

“Asia is basically a very open place. So really, you guys don’t need to ask that question, you just need to get out – Asia is ready to receive you.
