PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s pharmaceutical industry is set for a massive revolution with the collaboration between Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and ChemPartner, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (The MCA president praised the move as another significant milestone towards enhancing UKM’s capabilities in medicine and health sciences.
“By leveraging ChemPartner’s global expertise, this cooperation aims to establish a leading medical and service hub in Malaysia, focusing on research, development, and commercialisation of innovative medical products and biotechnologies. Dr Wee, whom Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi referred to as a special adviser, said the event also marked the opening of ChemPartner’s ADC Global Centre of Excellence.
Dr Wee was one of the many important guests invited to attend the agreement signing ceremony, which was held in Shanghai, China, yesterday.
