An Australian business owner has been found dead on the steps of a convenience store in Thailand following a full moon party. Christopher Stephen Boucher, a British ex-pat who lived in Sydney’s northern beaches, was found dead on the steps of a 7-Eleven at around 6.30am on Monday.

Police are reviewing CCTV footage and are hoping to discover who drove Mr Boucher from the party to the ATM, and why they left him. “Officers are checking CCTV to find out who took the tourist back and why they left,” Police Lieutenant Colonel Arun told local media. Mr Boucher, originally from Kent, was discovered with a plastic drinking bottle and his NSW drivers licence. “We found the body lying face up.
