after General John Kelly, President Trump’s former chief of staff, joined the board of directors of the holding company that oversees Homestead.

CHS, founded in 1975 as a medical services provider, is owned by a Virginia-based private equity firm called DC Capital Partners and was in turn incorporated under Caliburn, a holding company that mainly consists of four government contractors that the private equity firm had already owned: CHS, consultancy firm PT&C, and security companies Sallyport and Janus Global Operations.
