One of the rare artworks that have never been seen on the open market are going on auction.

Rare artworks by Irma Stern and Lady Anne Barnard that have never been seen on the open market are going on auction for the first time at Stephan Welz & Co. Auctioning of the 220 years old artworks are set to take place on the 1st and 2nd of July 2019 at Stephan Welz & Co. Cape Town in Constantia.The evocative Irma Stern painting is making its first appearance on the open market after being purchased 80 years ago by a famous actress.Watch video below as Fine Art Specialist Luke Crossley​ provides more details about the pieces.
