A Fox Business Network guest today attempted to spin a new poll which found that 23 percent of Americans expect to never retire by criticizing retirement and praising the U.S. for allowing its citizens the"opportunity to keep working."Monday, the host discussed the findings of the poll from the Associated Press/NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.
"Doesn't worry me personally," Luskin responded."I guess I'm one of those people who plans never to retire." "What a great country where we have the opportunity to keep working! What a miracle where our lives are long enough and we're healthy enough and mentally alert enough so that we don't have to retire like generations before us!" he added."This is a great blessing. You should embrace it!"
Some people enjoy working, they don't feel it is a job. Some people spent their youth 'messing around' & contributing very little to their 401(k)s. We teach our kids to save maximum 40l(k)s frm their lst paycheck, so they can have a good life. It all depend on person, not gov't.
A--hole
We know Fox News sells lies and half truths but that's their business model. But it is successful because of an uninformed public and a unsophisticated unfocused media opposition.
I will retire but I'm not gonna quit working just only work for myself.
Fox people have fully internalized all the wrong lessons of 1984.
