As the country marks Heritage Day, South Africans will celebrate the day through indigenous languages.
President Ramaphosa will use his address to the nation to urge South Africans to preserve and promote their languages as well as their national identity. The formal programme will be preceded by the official hand-over of a newly built library to the community. Thousands of those expected at the event will be entertained by a diverse cultural performance showcasing the country’s diverse heritage.
