Cleveland, Ohio Six drug companies accused in thousands of lawsuits over their role in the nation's opioid epidemic failed to reach a settlement with governments across the country, setting the stage for a high-profile trial Monday.

The six defendants include three pharmaceutical distribution companies — AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal Health, and McKesson Corporation — a smaller distributor called Henry Schein Medical, generic drug company Teva Pharmaceuticals and pharmacy chain Walgreens, according to court documents.

Good cause they shouldn't get away under a low ball settlement for all the harm they caused. It seems.lile color of law tricks and we should look into that too with these corporations using settlements to swindle us further.

It happens because the ones that get those prescriptions take to many to get high that is a pain killer not whiskey then they can't get another prescription and go buy heroin which is the worst mistake anyone can make. Heroin everyone knows is THE KILLER. Be responsible with meds
