Alphabet's self-driving car company Waymo broke ground in Europe by buying Oxford startup Latent LogicAs well as buying up Latent Logic's tech and talent, Waymo announced that it would establish its first European engineering hub. WeWork is overhauling its employee compensation plan, according to a memo sent to staff on Thursday by its head of people that was seen by Business InsiderThe package includes base salary, an annual cash bonus, and annual equity grants. Previously, employees had equity but not through an annual grant system.

Uber's co-founder and former CEO Travis Kalanick sold off close to $166 million shares over the last week, continuing to offload his stake in the ride-sharing giantThe ousted chief executive has sold off a little more than $2 billion worth of Uber stock since the company's post-IPO lockup period in early November, an act that has rapidly liquidated his stake in the company.
