The Selangor government itself is the developer for the real estate project that will require the Kuala Langat Forest Reserve being bulldozed.
This project was first announced by Amirudin in his speech on Budget 2020 for Selangor on Nov 1 last year.Kuala Langat Forest Reserve measures at 958ha. According to the notice calling for public objections to the degazettement, the state government wants to excise 97 percent of the reserve, leaving just a tiny strip to the south.
