Boeing's CEO and chairman will both give up their pay until the end of the year.

The Boeing Company announced a series of moves Friday as it seeks $60 billion in federal assistance for the aerospace industry amid the widening economic crisis.

CEO Dave Calhoun and Chairman Larry Kellner will give up their pay until the end of the year and the company will suspend its dividend, Boeing said in a press release. Calhoun, who became CEO job in January, was supposed to receive $10.9 million in annual compensation along with awards worth a $17 million. Kellner, who replaced Calhoun as chairman of Boeing’s board, received cash and stock worth $392,111 last year."Boeing is drawing on all of its resources to sustain operations, support its workforce and customers, and maintain supply chain continuity through the COVID-19 crisis and for the long term," the company said in the press release Friday.

The aerospace industry was not part of the economic stimulus bill introduced by Senate Republicans this week.

Your bonus last year was what? 40 million. ? Garbage

Federal bailout assistance my arse‼️

They should both be in jail for murdering hundreds of innocent people!

United would never do that

anything about building $hit%y planes 737 ?

Every politician should be doing the same

Am I supposed to be impressed that they won’t make millions for a year. Get the fuck out of my face right now with this bullshit.

Such a BS act when so much of their income is based on bonus and stock option sales. Guarantee they don’t return it to the workers but figure it into the operational cost budget and a lower cost increases profit of which they’ll get a larger bonus. It won’t matter to them.

Great

Allah bless 🙏🙏🙏

Shouldn't they be in jail?

Not all heros wear capes!! I realize the CEO is relatively new but that’s too bad. When they get bailed out all execs should be fired.

What can I say to that? Has anybody questioned how much they get paid and if the company would afford to pay them that by the end of the year? We will be so broke!!

Oh no! What a sacrifice! How will he get by?! He better set up a relief fund for millionaires who donate the equivalence of $80 to the 99% of American household incomes.

Oh. How big of them. After taking millions in buy backs after a huge corporate tax cut instead of passing it on to their harworking employees, and creating a plane that was not properly vetted and ended up killing innocent humans.

Wow. Both of them made multi-millions last year, I think they will be ok.

Worthless gesture. They need to give up all bonuses and options.
