Amazon launches new benefits for Business Prime members, Amazon Business American Express cardAmazon.com Inc. said Tuesday that it is launching new benefits for Business Prime members in the U.S., Germany and Japan and a new Amazon Business American Express Card. The tools are for purchasing trend analysis, money-saving opportunities, spending data, setting compliance policies and budget optimization. The Amazon Business American Express card has no annual fee and a number of perks. In the U.S., Amazon Business American Express cardholders who are also Business Prime members can choose either 5% back or 90-day terms on eligible purchases, request extended payment terms, and get free same-day and one-day shipping on orders of $35 or more. For a limited time, card members can receive a free year of Business Prime Essentials. Business Prime membership ranges in price from $179 per year for up to three users (Essentials) and $10,099 per year for more than 100 users (Enterprise). Amazon shares have rallied 53% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index is up 3.1% for the period.
