That’s that evil 45 in charge blame him

災害からの復旧・復興には莫大な費用が掛かりそうだな。

And isn’t Puerto Rico an American Territory? Which means that American companies would be connected to that?

I thought the GOP gave money to fellow GOP members....I seem to remember a bunch of money going to a MT, WY GOP member getting lots of money to rebuild PR

Misuse of public funds

44 billion given?! They are not a state! We the tax payer are not paying the corrupt Puerto Rican government to rebuild the whole damn territory. Its not a state and not contributing as such. They want 130 billion? Fuck that, fuck CNE! Theyll just waste it. No more federal funds!

and would said company’s be owned by Trump, or his supporters?

Well...DUH! Where were they supposed to go? China? Or will you say they should have went to Puerto Rico? They couldn't even manage to competently distribute the SUPPLIES we sent. smfh Time to cut that island loose...we don't need the drain or the abuse. WWG1WGA

Well, surprise, surprise. A government totally controlled by the GOP diverting federal funds to make their wealthy friends even wealthier.

sheilaaj Reason: If the Money was Given to DEMOCRATS that Control PR -Then the money would have been stolen and used for nothing -(see) the Debt load they have from Democrat control already

If you listen to the news saying that PR is in bad shape and 3,000 deaths, then wouldn’t you suggest that the real help needs to come from outside areas instead of criticizing?

Thank God we have FIMA.

🎅

The largest project is the rebuilding of the electrical infrastructure. There is no good reason to utilize foreign contractors. PR is a part of the USA. Oh, you mean "non-PR contractors?" Simple explanation: PR doesn't have sufficiently qualified and equipped contractors.

BS

PUERTO RICO is IN the US, and careless headlines like this don’t help Americans there get the aid they need. Do better, NBC News.

I just returned from Puerto Rico. They still need our help. Random generators power street lights by the convention center. Wires hang and circuit boxes are destroyed in old San Juan. Cement poles housing wires are broken off like toothpicks. But still breath taking beauty there.

Did you flunk geography ?

Disaster recovery is a big business.

Provide your proof of this! Nothing But Crap news spreading false claims! FreeAlex

This Was And Is Totally Wrong!! Contracts Should Have Went Toward Local Companies!!

NBCLatino Puerto Rico companies are US based companies too! Hello!! Puerto Ricans are American US citizens & PR is US soil.

NBCLatino Tough! If we’re paying for it we should do it! Wow. Beggars can’t be choosers

NBCLatino Because there are no companies in Puerto Rico that can handle the contracts.

sponson NBCLatino Of course the do. How many of these are going to friends of, and contributors to the GOP? This doesn't pass the sniff test at all.

NBCLatino Of course they are, FRUMP POTUS and his band of white supremacist criminals would never give a contract to a person of color. We can't have Puerto Rico getting out of debt. OH how I HATE this worthless administration GOP

NBCLatino And are probably friends of the Trump family. Or, Trump himself is profiting from this, much like caging children at the border.

NBCLatino Maybe they dont have the expertise to complete these contracts try doing some research first
