Kennedy’s 1963 assassination, the 1965 civil rights march in Selma, the 1967 Vietnam War protests, the 1968 assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the 1992 riots sparked by the police beating of Rodney King.“As painful as this is right now, it hasn’t gotten to the point where it changes the market’s outlook for a recovery—it’s that simple,” says Freeman.
