Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula has spoken out against what he describes as the lawlessness of the taxi industry.

The minister said the government is not fighting with the taxi industry and understands the industry has suffered ill effects from the national lockdown instituted to curb the spread of COVID-19.Meanwhile, Mosebenzi Zwane, Transport Portfolio Committee Chairperson, said the government will not be bullied into giving more money to the taxi industry.
