A new survey shows hundreds of McDonald's workers have been assaulted by anti-mask customers, as mandatory masks become the norm

As mask requirements becomes the norm during the coronavirus pandemic, companies are facing looming questions on how workers can safely enforce new policies.

Screenshots of a video of the attack in a Chicago McDonald's, shared with Business Insider by SEIU-backed Fight for $15.in late June after being grabbed and hit by an anti-mask customer through a drive-thru window in Oakland, California, she told Business Insider. In Illinois, María Villaseñor recently filed a complaint with the Chicago Department of Public Health after seeing a McDonald's coworker attacked by a customer she asked to wear a mask.

"This survey represents just 0.5% of the more than 800,000 crew and managers within our McDonald's family working across our U.S. restaurants," the statement continues. "While the SEIU is spending time sharing misinformation, McDonald's and our 2,000 franchisees are focused on keeping crew and managers employed in safe environments to serve healthcare workers, first responders, and communities during this pandemic."Costco shoppers.

They should close the dining rooms and just use the drive thru.

I truly believe the anti mask attitude could almost be classified as a mental disorder by the way it affects their behavior, mood, emotions, and thinking in social situations when asked to wear one. Triggered by a stressful life situation which in their mind is a made up virus.

They counted verbal assualt as assault. Are getting yelled at and getting punched equivalent? Not to write off getting yelled at, but come on.

Lock them up.
