Tesla has reported its fourth straight profitable quarter

Tesla reported a net income of $104 million and operating income of $327 million despite closing its Fremont, California, manufacturing plant for nearly half of the quarter. The continued profits make Tesla eligible to be added to the S&P 500 . Tesla's stock price has more than tripled this year, making it the most valuable automaker in the world.

The facility will be used to build Tesla's Cybertruck, Semi, as well as the Model 3 and Y for the Eastern part of the US.
