With demand stuck at roughly one-third of prepandemic levels, the industry faces a lean post-Labor Day season. This year, most of the travel linked to business conventions and family holiday gatherings just won’t happen, airline executives said.

I do not believe airlines are keeping planes clean! My last flight when I boarded my seat & floor were covered with food from the previous passenger. The Attendent told me they do not clean and to deal with it. Really? How disgusting is that? (4)

Not to mention, 3 of my last flights before Covid, across country, were horrific experiences where I missed my connections every time due to airline delays, equipment related. No direct flights! We are forced into changing planes 1-2 x to get across country. (3)

Practices such as having to pay extra to reserve your seat, luggage fees, when you get to board the plane. This has caused complete chaos because people won't check bGs and you cannot even fit your briefcase on a flight. Complete chaos! (2)

Perhaps they should be focused on making passengers feel safe by not over-selling the planes. United and AA are the worst offenders. They need to build public trust. We all have PTSD from the way airlines have treated ya over the years, including practices (1)

Need two inches of leg room gimme $60. Need an overhead bin gimme $30. Need an aisle or window gimme $60. Need to check a bag gimme $100. Want out of the rear gimme $50. Need a helping hand now huh? Forget it.

Not on all tickets. BTW, what happened to all that money they made nickel & diming their passengers?

Why don’t the airlines offer a subscription based model For frequent flyers you pay $2k per month. Or If you only fly 1 or 2 times per month you pay $600/mth... just an idea.

Staff wearing BLM pins doesn't help....

Except that this isn’t what’s really happening. Airlines are waiving ticket change fees on “some” tickets purchased but keeping those fees on many others.
