A sweet suburban home in Laurel, Mississippi, featured on the popular HGTV show “Home Town” is on the market for $210,000. HGTVHomeTown

Fans of the show should cast their minds back to Season 1, Episode 9, which aired in May 2017. Erin and Ben Napier helped their friends Dawn and Michael Trest move out of a downtown loft and into a life in suburbia. The Trests chose a split-level built in 1968 that was on the market for $115,000. Located on a quiet, dead-end street and surrounded by greenery, the home is just 10 minutes from downtown.

In the living area, the “Home Town” team adds a built-in window seat to create a breakfast seating area as well as lots of cabinets and built-in shelves for attractive storage. A built-in desk also now graces the living area, a perfect touch for those still working or schooling from home. The bedrooms have also been updated with fresh paint and new hardware installed in the baths.

The Trest family are now in need of more space than the three-bedroom, two-bathroom home provides. They’re packing up their belongings to move into a larger place.
