Business owners in South Australia who rely on the tourism money generated by the Santos Tour Down Under cycling race will go without after the race was cancelled for 2021.

"The Santos Tour Down Under is a much-loved event on the world cycling and Australian sporting calendars and we know how important this event is to the people of South Australia," Executive Director, Events South Australia Hitaf Rasheed said.It's estimated the Tour Down Under generates around $70 million for the local economy.
