Gezawa Commodity Market and Exchange Limited will open in the first quarter of next year as a multi-billion naira market, founder -Ahmad Idris who is the Accountant General of the Federation disclosed.
Idris spoke when a delegation of Kano Concerned Citizens Initiative , led by its Chairman, Alhaji Bashir Tofa met with him after visiting the market. The AGF disclosed that the majority of investors in the commodity and exchange market are from southern Nigeria, as he called on northerners to come and invest in it, in order to reduce poverty in the region.
