Paul Mescal is officially off the market as he described secret girlfriend as a ‘lifesaver’ during a time of madness.
But lifting the lid on his love life for the first time, despite requesting for her identity to remain unknown, the breakout star revealed how he has really relied on his girlfriend’s support and guidance to cope with his meteoric rise to worldwide fame. Mescal, who has been named breakthrough actor of the year at GQ’s forthcoming virtual Men Of The Year Awards, made the comments as he opened up on the ‘brutal’ reality of his overnight fame following the success of the show, based on the Sally Rooney novel of the same name.
The 24-year-old, who is now busy working on some of the most star studded sets in Hollywood, including the directorial debut of Oscar nominee Maggie Gyllenhaal's ‘The Lost Daughter’ added: “I also don’t think a lot of those photographers are particularly nice.
