Seven Yoruba men were on Thursday remanded at Abolongo correctional facility in Oyo for alleged arson and murder during the Shasha market mayhem.

The Iyaganu Magistrate, I. O. Osho, who did not take the plea of the suspects for want in jurisdiction ordered the police to return the case file to the Office of the Oyo State Director of Public Prosecutions for legal advice.Earlier, the prosecution counsel, Foluke Oladosu, told the court that the suspects conspired with others, at large, to commit the offence.

Ms Oladosu said, on February 12, at about 10 am, at Shasha market, Ibadan, the suspects caused the death of Adeola Shakirudeen, when they beat him up.The prosecution also alleged that the suspects burnt two houses belonging to Adelabu Ibrahim and caused damage worth N50 million. The police also alleged that the suspects also burnt down a house belonging to Osuolale Akindele and destroyed property worth N20 million.

The offence, the police said, contravened the provisions of sections 6, and 316 and punishable under sections 443 and 319 and 516 of the Criminal Code Cap 38 Vol.II, Laws of Oyo State 2000.

The same judge should kindly release those people detained where is the hausa infact it's two fighting....

Am happy to here these why? Because so that the mumu in our land may get senses two trips fight on as been reminded in prison so what happened to the Fulani and Hausa that killed a pregnant women.

Jostice should be done pls.

Shame on the Yorubas

How many have been ordered for the killings in Kaduna, plateau and Benue states?

Was this action not biased Because I believe other tribes were involved in the mayhem ?

And where is the hausa man that used charm to killed yoruba man when the Yoruba man was complaining why hausa man will hitted a pregnant yoruba woman with his force , the northern people think they gain the whole country but I our blame southwest past and present in power

Why that? Yoruba! Yoruba!! Yoruba!!! Eronu ooo

It's clear now

Only 7? More than 1000 people are involved why arrest only 7?

When this happens again

Why are southern representatives in this administration are so irresponsible .

Na hausa get this country..

The judge that remand them self I also tender his or her matter to the witch and wizards

Has anyone any idea of any fulani being detain anywhere

I applaud the judgement but I hope it goes round when it is the turn of other people.

Where re the Yoruba Leaders .this is the height of Hypocrisy

Do we still have leaders in the S/W at all?. Yoruba loss in tune of billion naira, no monetary compensation, no house or shop rebuilt, yet in custody. S/W Govs wake up!! seyiamakinde dabiodunMFR kfayemi jidesanwoolu RotimiAkeredolu GboyegaOyetola

If this is true .....hmmmmmm....i want to tell GSM nd co not to sit on time bomb.....shasha issues originated by a particular person(s)...Dont let ppl read nd bliv ds wat s happening

Hypocrite how abt others.

Konidafun yin!!! Na only Yoruba men cuz abi....

Hmmmmm e shock 🤯 una, unfortunately there is no justice ⚖ in Nigeria

Well done, I love it like this, Yorubas, igbos, middle belt, Ijaws etc, it is time, please please sign the petition that is going around, by the grace of God we will not continue with this Northerners. My people from the South be ready. Look out for the petition

Government should release those people, how can government pay hausas for committing atrocities they punish the yorubas for avenging

Meanwhile no Hausa will be held accountable and this is one of the reason for YORUBANATIONNOW

If the Yoruba leaders allowed any Yoruba man to be blamed for shasha market problems then it’s a shame on our leaders for not trying to protect their own the same way the Hausa Fulani protected theirs

This looks like Ile Epo market, is it same as shasha?

Why not rehabilitate them & pay them salaries as FG does to Fulani Terrorists instead of reminding them? The south and their quest to please their masters.

I tell you, if this were to happen in the North, you wont see this kind of transparent trials

N not one fulani has been remanded 4 killing n raping Southerners

What have they done to those Fulanis that kills at OYO too? Are they saint?

But they set bandits free right 🙄 BuhariMustGo we venue and date, there’s nothing like one Nigeria

Let them face serious punishment for causing ethnic crisis

While Igoho Sunday is walking the reason Nigeria will never be better. Before you commit any crime make sure you are rich and have connections.

They remand yorubas but paid the hausa fulani...one Nigeria in action 😂😂😂😂we will all get sense by force...

'Yoruba killers'.... should say it with their chest.

The people wey dem first start the kasala nko? Na we dey give ourselves problem
