Co-owner of The Local Grill, Steven Maresch, said that the entire restaurant industry is going through a process of languishing, while trying to remain optimistic during a dire situation. “Takeaways account for less than 15% of revenue at a sit-down restaurant. So the amount of takeaways that would be needed to be sold for restaurants to remain afloat, is unrealistic.”
