One senior executive which experienced this phenomenon was Craig Evans, Divisional Executive of Relationship Banking at Nedbank. "In a world working remotely we are effectively trying to solve for staff and client safety, for performance, for convenience and for the human touch; all in this new hybrid format. As we look forward with technology, we are absolutely clear that technology only really works when you have the human touch as well. We had to have a blended approach," says Evans.

"We needed to understand that everybody has a different home. Some may have young children to take care of, others may have small homes with a lack of space.
