A Victorian sightseeing company is preparing to welcome tourists back when international borders reopen later this month, but its popular visits to the set of TV soap opera Neighbours might be on the way out | TV tourism Neighbours

When international tourism was banned at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020, Terry Smit’s sightseeing tour business didn’t just wind down.

Mr Smith said it was “very good news” that international tourists were being allowed back and “a bloody good step in the right direction”, but he hasn’t popped the champagne. On Sunday, Britain’s Channel 5 said it would end its financial agreement with production house Fremantle to createtours. Go West ran one such tour last month and had been planning a few more for this month and March.
