The Federal Government, through the Office of the Vice President on Shared Facility, has announced its support for Ogun State government to develop ‘Adire’ local fabric and make it a global brand.

A statement, at the weekend, by Chief Press Secretary to Governor Dapo Abiodun, Kunle Somorin, said this was revealed when the governor played host to Special Adviser to the President on Ease of Doing Business, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole.

He further noted that the facility was coming at a time the ‘Adire’ industry was booming in the state, disclosing that construction work on the facility would start immediately. SIMILARLY, the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation has donated a multi-million naira state-of-the-art paediatric centre to a state-owned general hospital in Saala, Ayetoro, Ogun State.

Sokefun said that the facility consists of an emergency treatment room, a 10-bed admission ward, a baby ward, a special baby care treatment room for new-born babies and an isolation room for those with infectious and communicable diseases, among others.
