rachelclun Electric cars are all very well if you can afford them. In the mean while everyone will suffer fuel prices, Scotty thinks that Australias are happy about that.

rachelclun If it moves it requires lubrication. EV's require oil and lubricants? LOL

rachelclun And increase our reliance on coal.. (to charge the EVs)

rachelclun If we want to reduce our carbon footprint, become energy independent and grow the economy to boot we would get fracking and go nuclear now. The fact that we don't shows that greens and populists don't want to solve real problems. Their bluster is actually about something else...

rachelclun If you propose that we will be given electric cars for free, ok I'm in, but not everyone can afford to buy a new or even used electric car. 🤦🏻‍♂️

rachelclun In a time where the cost of living is rising and wages are stagnant I do not believe the average person can then spend $60000, placing themselves further behind, to remedy the problem

rachelclun Then our country will be reliant on unreliable and expensive wind and solar. I’ll take petrol any day of the week.

rachelclun Cause electricity is so cheap

rachelclun We recommend beating the bowser with pedal power! Plus – you'll never get stuck in traffic🚲

rachelclun That's all very nice but do these people realise where the electricity comes from to charge their EV batteries. Yeah, some is solar and wind but vast majority comes from coal, oil, & gas (fossil fuels) !🤔

rachelclun Ha ha No faaarrrken way
