Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced ongoing partnership between the federal government and state Labor government for the resources industry.
Mr Morrison says his government sought to streamline approval processes for investment in major projects, especially for the resources industry. “Mark and I, through the National Cabinet, were all able to convince all the other premiers and chief ministers of the need to ensure we streamlined approval processes,” he said.
“State Labor government supported it. State Liberal government supported it. Our government led it. And the federal Labor Party opposed it.”
