I find it hard to believe solar panels are more reliable than a generator.

Love to see how many generators are being bought, some small business in Melbourne have generators as backup to keep frigs and freezers operating.

Its gaming for profits . How can there be a shortage after they survived 3 Flood events and a Catastrophic Bushfire Disasters with no shortages ?

they'd be better off with battery's & panels with generator backups, u need fuel for generators & with our lack of refining our falling dollar & rising oil price the price of fuel is only going 1 way ^

There is NO gas/coal shortages in Australia, one of the biggest suppliers of in the world. Bring the CEOs to Canberra and TELL them to fix it, plenty of domestic supply at fair a price OR the government will FIX IT & the companies will not like it one bit, you have 48 hour

TheLuckyCountry we have more coal, sun, coastline and wind than many countries yet we have poweroutage Why LNP what pickle you've left the country in, you really have set the policy dumpster on file.

Germany has 60,000MW of wind farm capacity installed, but currently is in “outage” due to no wind. Victoria in same position as it built x4 Hazelwood in wind farms but no wind. It seems like it doesn’t lower prices or make the grid reliable?

All that land and know solar, not enough dams built blah blah blah.

Why aren't they stocking up on solar panels ABC?🧐

I encourage everyone to buy petrol burning generators ! Can’t rely on the government to deliver the basics ! Then fuck their clean energy policy !

Everyone who can should stock up on a generator. We have
