JOHANNESBURG - The lifting of the last few COVID requirements will undoubtedly boost traveler confidence, according to Tourism Business Council of South Africa CEO, Tshifhiwa Tshivhengwa.Tourism: The engine of growth for South Africa"We have been debating this for some time now. Tourists now have a choice of where they want to go. Now we can fairly compete with other destinations," Tshivhengwa said.
"For now we need to reposition ourselves, we going to work closely with marketing agencies. We need to work together in a comprehensive way. This is the to hunt and impact this economy positively. Tourism needs to be recognised as a sector that's critical for the growth of this country. So this is a milestone in terms of where we are at the moment."
Encourage tourism during monkeypox endemic is a 'VERY WISE IDEA' Right?
And what about creating jobs now restrictions are gone? Is the Airline industry part of job creation? Why aren’t our 4 airlines employing pilots? If they have all the flight crew that they need, what about the rest of the pilots? Not everybody can go to the Middle East or USA!!!!
Lifting restrictions if any were there recently is amazingly too quick following Benjamins under the mattress saga and Zondo commission's released report and by the way food parcels comes in different shape when Ur vote count..
