LOL, those scumbags in ottawa CREATED the problem! They are the ENEMY of NL!

Of course not.A silly question

Need to rethink the way we harvest our oceans worldwide. Can’t keep treating our oceans like giant factory farms. There’s not going to be anything left for future generations. Need to listen more to the scientists & less of what the FFAW wants.

Can’t restock/rebuild a fishery , but we are going to solve world climate change in 15 years 😂 Good luck with that 🙄

If the cod stocks were really in danger here, why would Government allow a recreational fishery that takes many tons of fish out of the water every summer? Not to mention the bigger boats that have never stopped fishing for cod at all. How naive can we get?

There's no shortage of cod out there. There's simply no viable market for cod anymore. The Moratorium was all about restructuring the NL fishery. Government wanted to put an end to the cod traps and small-boat fishery. The cod stocks are fine. Don't be fooled.

It’s a federal problem

They done nothing to help rebuild it. 10 + millions hungry seals out there

Only ones suffered was the inshore draggers and foreign fleets never slowed down
