“I think we can declare an emergency on that one. We are in a crisis that we have never seen before. IPPs do exist as we speak now, so there is no point in opposing the idea of dealing with those issues. What we are opposed to is the privatisation of Eskom. The question of the IPPs is already existent and there is no point of arguing about that,” COSATU’s General Secretary Bheki Ntshalintshali explains.

Confused Tripartite Alliance: Who must do it because they are the mother of this mess ?

And that will help how ?

There is no electricity crisis.. Eskom has enough capacity with a surplus power of upto 15000mw at full supply to the country. State of emergency should rather be because of deliberate sabotage of the state utility by green energy psychopaths

People are busy with English! No state of emergency here, change leadership at Eskom period!!!!

One question , who scores by selling diesel to Eskom when the OCGTs are run? Surely Eskom must get the diesel direct from the cheapest complying manufacturer eg, Sasol, shell, BP etc

Get one answer from the ANC and or Eskom, what is the plan?

Ba gafa, they must call for removal of Minister of enterprise, CEO of Eskom and President of South Africa not this madness of singing for position. COSATU is useless like all its members, it has sold out long time ago and there is no need to even give them attention
