Investment firms that base their business decisions with their moral values could find themselves in the crosshairs of“We don’t want to see the economy further politicized," DeSantis said during a press conference in Tampa.

The governor is targeting an investment strategy known as ESG —"environment social governance" — that seeks to limit investments in companies that some view as socially or environmentally problematic, such as fossil fuel providers.
