OPINION: The Africa Super League paradox – is Africa FIFA’s guinea pig?

CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe with FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

The European Super League idea was immediately rejected by UEFA and FIFA and Football Supporters’ Association’s Premier League Network, among others.Major League Soccer and Liga MX also mulled the idea of a Concacaf and Conmebol version of the tournament.
