“The people I work with are so nice, the customers are so nice ... it makes the day go by fast. I have found meeting the customers who come through the door a very good experience.”“I guess hiking is something I’ve been doing my whole life with my family and friends. It would be my number one hobby.”

Emily Gillis, a fairly new employee at Avery’s, resides in Brookfield. Like her two co-workers, Emily was surprised and pleased to have been part of Premier Houston’s mid-July visit to the market on Willow Street.“I think it was a wonderful experience for our young employees,” Simpson said. “These young people really enjoyed the premier’s visit. It was uplifting for them; it will be good for them going forward. It was also a good thing for the store, I was totally impressed.
