“When I got at the market, I looked around at the other businesses and saw that smoothies were missing,” writes Williams.She says she's a woman who knows her mind.Williams quickly realized that selling just this one item was not going to be enough to make a go of it at the market. She soon added in selling her preserves again. These preserves are what became her No. 1 seller.

The selling of preserves and smoothies led Williams to yet another item. She has now added a plantain healing cream to her arsenal. Emilia Ouellette Williams started out selling preserves at craft fairs and later expanded her business to include smoothies, kombucha, and natural remedies. - Contributed

She says it also relieves sore muscles, leg cramps, arthritis, gout, insect bites, feminine itching, dry nostrils that cause nosebleeds, dryness and itchiness of eczema and psoriasis, radiation burns, sciatic nerve pain, and shingles. Black garlic, like fresh raw garlic, has antioxidants and other key nutrients that is thought to help improve your health and prevent serious health-related issues, she explains. These healing properties are just higher when it is converted to black garlic.“People appreciate that these products are artisanal, made in small batches, and they know the origin,” she says.
