The United Kingdom's Cabinet Office released guidance for businesses and private organizations' conduct during the national mourning period for Queen Elizabeth II.

, writing, "There is no obligation on organizations to suspend business during the National Mourning period.

However, the communiqué did subtly suggest the suspension of events that could be seen as insensitive or distasteful due to their "nature" or "location."
