Preston's Flag Market will host a rally as part of the Enough is Enough national day of action 🪧 eiecampaign

Speakers confirmed for the Flag Market rally are Leader of Preston City Council Councillor Matthew Brown, Councillor Valerie Wise, Chair of Preston No.1 Branch RMT Mark McCarrick, Hazards Campaign’s Janet Newsham, Chair of Preston Climate Emergency Centre Debbie Whiteside, and North West Regional Pensioners Association’s Derek Barton.

There will be music from Trouble at Mill and singer-songwriter Glyn Shipman, plus poetry from Jonny Cosmo.A statement on the Enough is Enough website says: “We can’t rely on the establishment to solve our problems. It’s up to us in every workplace and every community. “So, if you’re struggling to get by and your wages don’t cover the bills, if you’re fed up working harder for less and you’re worried about the future, or if you just can’t stand to see what’s happening to our country – join us.”Read more
